One woman was killed, and another was injured in a shooting at an apartment complex in north Harris County, according to Sheriff Ed Gonzalez.

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) -- A second arrest has been made in connection with an April shooting that left a woman dead and another injured at a north Harris County apartment complex, investigators said.

The Harris County Sheriff's Office announced Alyzae M. Davila's arrest on Wednesday. A few months prior, HCSO detectives said they also arrested and charged Javon E. Brown.

The pair is charged in the shooting death of 20-year-old Julianna Elizabeth Cardenas in the 12600 block of Kuykendahl Road.

On April 19, deputies said Davila and Brown chased down Cardenas' vehicle - as she was with a friend - and fired multiple rounds. Cardenas was killed, but her friend survived, HCSO said.

Officials initially said Cardenas had agreed to meet with another woman with whom she allegedly had an ongoing dispute over another man. An argument ensued before shots were reportedly fired.

Davila and Brown were booked into the Harris County Jail and face a murder charge, the sheriff's office said. Brown also faces a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
